पान्तमा वो अन्धस इन्द्रमभि प्र गायत । विश्वासाहँ शत्क्रतुं मँहिष्ठं चर्षणीनाम् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यजमानो! आप इंद्र की स्तुति कीजिए. वे आप के द्वारा चढ़ाए गए सोमरूपी अन्न को पीने वाले तथा शत्रुओं का नाश करने वाले हैं. वे सैकड़ों प्रकार के कर्म करने वाले व मनुष्यों को धन देने वाले हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
O hosts! You praise Indra. They are the ones who drink the soma-like food offered by you and destroy the enemies. They are the ones who do hundreds of kinds of deeds and give money to human beings. (1)
पुरुहूतं पुरुष्टुतं गाथान्या३ँ सनश्रुतम् । इन्द्र इति ब्रवीतन ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यजमानो! आप इंद्र की उपासना कीजिए. वे बहुत प्रसिद्ध हैं. वे यज्ञ में अनेक लोगों द्वारा बुलाए जाते हैं. अनेक लोगों द्वारा उन की उपासना की जाती है. (२)
EN English Translation
O hosts! You worship Indra. They are very famous. They are called by many people in the yajna. He is worshiped by many people. (2)
इन्द्र इन्नो महोनां दाता वाजानां नृतुः । महाँ अभिज्ञ्वा यमत् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यजमानो! इंद्र अन्न और धन देने वाले हैं. वे महान देव हैं. वे हमारे सामने प्रकट हो कर हमें अन्नधन आदि देने की कृपा करें. (३)
EN English Translation
O hosts! Indra is the giver of food and wealth. He is a great god. May they appear in front of us and give us food grains etc. (3)
प्र व इन्द्राय मादनँ हर्यश्वाय गायत । सखायः सोमपाव्ने ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यजमानो! इंद्र हरि नाम के घोड़े वाले हैं. वे सोमरस पीने वाले हैं. आप उन इंद्र के लिए मादक स्तोत्र गाइए. (४)
EN English Translation
O hosts! Indra has a horse named Hari. They are somers drinkers. You sing intoxicating hymns to those Indras. (4)
शँसेदुक्थँ सुदानव उत द्युक्षं यथ नरः । चकृमा सत्यराधसे ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यजमानो! इंद्र श्रेष्ठ धनदाता और सत्यरूपी धन वाले हैं. हम विधिविधान सहित इंद्र की स्तुति करते हैं. आप भी उन की स्तुति कीजिए. (५)
EN English Translation
O hosts! Indra is the best rich and the one with true wealth. We praise Indra with the law. You also praise them. (5)
त्वं न इन्द्र वाजयुस्त्वं गव्युः शतक्रतो । त्वँ हिरण्ययुर्वसो ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप सैकड़ों प्रकार के कर्म करने वाले हैं. आप हमें अन्न, गाएं व सोना दीजिए. (६)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are going to do hundreds of types of deeds. You give us food, sing and sleep. (6)
वयमु त्वा तदिदर्था इन्द्र त्वायन्तः सखायः । कण्वा उक्थेभिर्जरन्ते ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! हम आप को अपना बनाना चाहते हैं. हम मित्र भाव से आप की उपासना करते हैं. हम कण्वगोत्र के हैं. हमारी संतान भी आप की स्तुति करती है. (७)
EN English Translation
O Indra! We want to make you your own. We worship you with friends. We belong to the dungeon. Our children also praise you. (7)
न घेमन्यदा पपन वज्रिन्नपसो नविष्टौ । तवेदु स्तोमैश्चिकेत ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप वज्र धारण करने वाले हैं. यज्ञ अनुष्ठान में आप के स्तोत्र के अलावा हम और कोई स्तोत्र नहीं पढ़ेंगे. हम आप के ही स्तोत्रों से स्तुति करना जानते हैं. (८)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are going to wear thunderbolts. Apart from your stotra, we will not read any other stotra in the yajna ritual. We know how to praise with your own hymns. (8)
इच्छन्ति देवाः सुन्वन्तं न स्वप्नाय स्पृहयन्ति । यन्ति प्रमादमतन्द्राः ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सोमयज्ञ करने वालों पर देवगण की कृपा रहती है. केवल सपने देखने वालों से वे प्रेम नहीं करते हैं. परिश्रम करने वाले ही आनंददायी सोम को प्राप्त कर सकते हैं. (९)
EN English Translation
Those who do Somyagya are blessed by devgan. They don't love only dreamers. Only those who work hard can achieve a blissful Som. (9)
इन्द्राय मद्व्ने सुतं परि ष्टोभन्तु नो गिरः । अर्कमर्च्चन्तु कारवः ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यजमानो! आप सराहनीय सोमरस की उपासना कीजिए. वे उपासना के योग्य हैं. इंद्र सोमरस को चाहते हैं. हमारी वाणी को छाने हुए सोमरस की स्तुति करनी चाहिए. (१०)
EN English Translation
O hosts! You worship the admirable Someras. They are worthy of worship. Indra wants Somers. Our speech should be praised by the shadow somersa. (10)
यस्मिन्विश्वा अधि श्रियो रणन्ति सप्त सँसदः । इन्द्रँ सुते हवामहे ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इंद्र सारी शोभाओं से शोभित हैं. यज्ञ में सात पुरोहित इंद्र को हवि देने के लिए अनेक मंत्र पढ़ते हैं. हम सोमयज्ञ में उन इंद्र को आमंत्रित करते हैं. (११)
EN English Translation
Indra is adorned with all the beauty. In the yajna, seven priests recite many mantras to give havi to Indra. We invite those Indras in Somyagya. (11)
त्रिकद्रुकेषु चेतनं देवासो यज्ञमत्नत । तमिद्वर्धन्तु नो गिरः ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
यज्ञ उत्साहवर्धक है. सभी देव यज्ञ के तीन दिनों में यज्ञ की बढ़ोतरी करते हैं. हमारी स्तुति और वाणियां भी उस यज्ञ की बढ़ोतरी करें. (१२)
EN English Translation
Yajna is encouraging. All the gods increase the yajna in the three days of the yajna. May our praise and words also increase that yajna. (12)
