तद्वो गाय सुते सचा पुरुहूताय सत्वने । शं यद्गवे न शाकिने ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्तुति करने वालो! सोम तैयार करने के बाद बहुत से यजमान जिन की स्तुति करते हैं जो धन दाता हैं, तुम उन इंद्र के लिए प्रार्थना करो. वे प्रार्थनाएं उन्हें उसी प्रकार सुख देती हैं, जिस प्रकार गायों को घास. (१)
EN English Translation
O praisers! After preparing Soma, pray for Indra, whom many hosts praise who are the givers of wealth. Those prayers give them happiness in the same way as grass to cows. (1)
यस्ते नूनँ शतक्रतविन्द्र द्युम्नितमो मदः । तेन नूनं मदे मदेः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप सैकड़ों कर्म करने वाले हैं अथवा आप सैकड़ों प्रकार का ज्ञान रखने वाले हैं. वह सोमरस हम ने आप ही के लिए निकाला था. आप उस रस को पी कर आनंदित होइए और हमें भी आनंद प्रदान कीजिए. (२)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are going to do hundreds of deeds or you are going to have hundreds of types of knowledge. That somers we took out for you. You enjoy drinking that juice and give us pleasure too. (2)
गाव उप वदावटे महि यज्ञस्य रप्सुदा । उभा कर्णा हिरण्यया ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे गौओ! आप यज्ञ स्थान की ओर जाइए. आप धार्मिक यज्ञ विधाओं के लिए दूध आदि प्रदान कीजिए. आप के दोनों कान स्वर्ण से सुशोभित हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
O goo! You go towards the yajna place. You should provide milk etc. for religious yajna disciplines. Both your ears are adorned with gold. (3)
अरमश्वाय गायत श्रुतकक्षारं गवे । अरमिन्द्रस्य धाम्ने ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्तुति करने वालो! इंद्र के घोड़े, गायों व इंद्र धाम के लिए पूरी तरह वैदिक स्तुतियां गाइए. (४)
EN English Translation
O praisers! Sing vedic praises completely for Indra's horses, cows and Indra Dham. (4)
तमिन्द्रं वाजयामसि महे वृत्राय हन्तवे । स वृषा वृषभो भुवत् ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप उस बड़े राक्षस (वृत्रासुर) को मारने वाले हैं. आप वज्र के समान बलवान हैं. हम अपनी सहायता के लिए आप को आमंत्रित करते हैं. आप धन दाता हैं. हमें धन प्रदान कीजिए. (५)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are going to kill that big demon (Vritrasura). You are as strong as a thunderbolt. We invite you for your assistance. You are a money giver. Give us money. (5)
त्वमिन्द्र बलादधि सहसो जात ओजसः । त्वँ सन्वृषन्वृषेदसि ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप शत्रुओं को हराने वाले हैं. आप बल और हृदय के धैर्य के कारण प्रसिद्ध हैं आप वरदानों तथा मनोवांछित फलों को देने वाले हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are going to defeat enemies. You are famous for your strength and patience in your heart, you are the giver of boons and desired results. (6)
यज्ञ इन्द्रमवर्धयद्यद्भूमिं व्यवर्तयत् । चक्राण ओपशं दिवि ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! अंतरिक्ष में मेघों को फैला कर आप ने बरसात आदि से पृथ्वी को बढ़ाया (समृद्ध किया). हम यजमानों के यज्ञं ने आप का यश बढ़ाया है. (७)
EN English Translation
O Indra! By spreading the clouds in space, you increased the earth with rain etc. The sacrifices of us hosts have increased your fame. (7)
यदिन्द्राहं तथा त्वमीशीय वस्व एक इत् । स्तोता मे गोसखा स्यात् ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! जैसे आप अकेले समस्त वैभव के स्वामी हैं, यदि वैसे ही मैं भी सारे वैभव का स्वामी हो जाऊं तो मेरी स्तुति करने वाले गौ आदि धनधान्य वाले हो जाएं. (८)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Just as you alone are the swami of all splendour, if I also become the master of all splendour, then those who praise me become rich, cow etc. (8)
पन्यंपन्यमित्सोतार आ धावत मद्याय । सोमं वीराय शूराय ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सोमरस निकालने वाले पुरोहितो! आप शूरवीर इंद्र के लिए सोमरस अर्पित कीजिए. यह सोमरस सर्वत्र प्रशंसा के योग्य है. (९)
EN English Translation
Priests who remove Somerus! You offer somerasa to the knight Indra. This somerasa is worthy of praise everywhere. (9)
इदं वसो सुतमन्धः पिबा सुपूर्णमुदरम् । अनाभयिन्ररिमा ते ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप अंतर्यामी हैं. यह सोमरस लीजिए. अपनी प्रसन्नता के लिए इसे पीजिए, जिस से आप का पेट पूरी तरह भर जाए. आप सब ओर से निर्भय हैं. (१०)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are introverted. Take this somers. Drink it for your happiness, so that your stomach is completely filled. You are fearless on all sides. (10)
