ज्योतिर्यज्ञस्य पवते मधु प्रियं पिता देवानां जनिता विभूवसुः । दधाति रत्नँ स्वधयोरपीच्यं मदिन्तमो मत्सर इन्द्रियो रसः ॥ (१)

हे सोम! आप पवित्र, मधुर, देवताओं को प्रिय, पालक एवं धन प्रदान करने वाले हैं. आप स्फूर्तिदायी हैं. आप इंद्र को मदमस्त बना देते हैं. आप यह की ज्योति हैं. आप यजमान के लिए रत्न धारण करते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are pure, sweet, dear to the gods, foster and rich. You are energetic. You make Indra mad. You are the light of it. You wear gemstones for the host. (1)
अभिक्रन्दन्कलशं वाज्यर्षति पतिर्दिवः शतधारो विचक्षणः । हरिर्मित्रस्य सदनेषु सीदति मर्मृजानोऽविभिः सिन्धुभिर्वृषा ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप स्वर्गलोक के स्वामी, सैकड़ों धारा वाले, विलक्षण, स्फूर्तिदायी, ऊर्जा वर्धक व हरी आभा वाले हैं. आप आवाज करते हुए द्रोणकलश में जाते हैं. आप जल में मिल कर तैयार होते हैं. आप मित्र के घर में रहने की तरह कलश में रहते हैं. (२)

O Mon! You are the swami of heaven, hundreds of streams, extraordinary, energetic, energetic and green aura. You go to Dronakalsh while making a sound. You are ready by mixing in water. You live in the urn like living in a friend's house. (2)
अग्रे सिन्धूनां पवमानो अर्षत्यग्रे वाचो अग्रियो गोषु गच्छसि । अग्रे वाजस्य भजसे महद्धनँ स्वायुधः सोतृभिः सोम सूयसे ॥ (३)

हे सोम! आप को हम स्तुतियों से आमंत्रित करते हैं. हम आप को शोधित और जलमय करने के समय भी स्तुति गाते हैं. आप अस्त्रशस्त्रमय हो कर आते हैं, गौ की रक्षा करते हुए आते हैं. आप प्रचुर धन देने के लिए भजे जाते हैं. (३)

O Mon! We invite you from the eulogies. We sing praises even while treating and watering you. You come armed, protecting the cow. You are sent to give abundant money. (3)
असृक्षत प्र वाजिनो गव्या सोमासो अश्वया । शुक्रासो वीरयाशवः ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप प्रकाशमान, वेगवान व वीर हैं. यजमान गाएं, घोड़े और संतान पाने के लिए आप को परिष्कृत करते हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are bright, fast and brave. Host sing, refine you to get horses and offspring. (4)
शुम्भमानो ऋतायुभिर्मृज्यमाना गभस्त्योः । पवन्ते वारे अव्यये ॥ (५)

हे सोम! यजमानों के हाथों से तैयार, परिष्कृत व जल मिला कर तैयार किया गया सोमरस सुशोभित हो रहा है. (५)

O Mon! Someras, prepared, refined and prepared by mixing water with the hands of the hosts, is being adorned. (5)
ते विश्वा दाशुषे वसु सोमा दिव्यानि पार्थिवा । पवन्तामान्तरिक्ष्या ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप यजमान को पृथ्वीलोक, अंतरिक्षलोक और स्वर्गलोक के सभी वैभव प्रदान करने की कृपा कीजिए. (६)

O Mon! Please give the host all the glory of earth, space and heaven. (6)
पवस्व देववीरति पवित्रँ सोम रँह्या । इन्द्रमिन्दो वृषा विश ॥ (७)

हे सोम! आप पवित्र हैं. आप देवशक्तियों के निकट हैं. आप वेग से शोधित होने की कृपा कीजिए. आप इंद्र के लिए प्रतिस्थापित होने की कृपा कीजिए. (७)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are holy. You are close to the gods. Please be faster researched. Please be substituted for Indra. (7)
आ वच्यस्व महि प्सरो वृषेन्दो द्युम्नवत्तमः । आ योनिं धर्णसिः सदः ॥ (८)

हे सोम! आप वीर व प्रकाशमान हैं. आप हमें उत्तम गुण प्रदान करने एवं यज्ञ में अपने निर्धारित स्थान पर पधारने की कृपा कीजिए. (८)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are brave and enlightening. Please give us the best qualities and come to your designated place in the yajna. (8)
अधुक्षत प्रियं मधु धारा सुतस्य वेधसः । अपो वसिष्ट सुक्रतुः ॥ (९)

शोधित सोमरस धाराओं से पात्र में इकट्ठा होता है. वसिष्ठ ऋषि सोमरस को जल में मिलाते हैं. (९)

महान्तं त्वा महीरन्वापो अर्षन्ति सिन्धवः । यद्गोभिर्वासयिष्यसे ॥ (१०)

हे सोम! आप महान हैं. आप को महान नदियों के जल व गायों के दूध में मिलाया जाता है. (१०)

O Mon! You are great. You are mixed with the water of great rivers and the milk of cows. (10)
समुद्रो अप्सु मामृजे विष्टम्भो धरुणो दिवः । सोमः पवित्रे अस्मयुः ॥ (११)

हे सोम! आप देवलोक को धारण करते हैं. आप जलमय व आकांक्षी हैं. आप को बारबार भेड़ के बालों से बनी छलनी में छाना जाता है. (११)

O Mon! You wear Devlok. You are jealous and aspirational. You are repeatedly filtered in a sieve made of sheep's hair. (11)
अचिक्रदद्वृषा हरिर्महान्मित्रो न दर्शतः । सँ सूर्येण दिद्युते ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सोमरस शक्तिदायी, हरी कांति वाला, महान, मित्र की तरह दर्शनीय और सूर्य की तरह द्युतिमान (प्रकाशित) है. (१२)

Someras is powerful, green-colored, great, visible like a friend and illuminated like the sun. (12)
गिरस्त इन्द ओजसा मर्मृज्यन्ते अपस्युवः । याभिर्मदाय शुम्भसे ॥ (१३)

हे सोम! आप के ओज से यजमान स्तुति गाते हैं तथा प्रसन्नता के लिए आप सुशोभित होते हैं. (१३)

O Mon! With your grace, the host sings praise and you are adorned for happiness. (13)
तं त्वा मदाय घृष्वय उ लोककृत्नुमीमहे । तव प्रशस्तये महे ॥ (१४)

हे सोम! आप लोक कल्याण के लिए शन्रुनाशक हैं. हम महान स्तोत्रों से आप की प्रशंसा करते हैं. (१४)

O Mon! You are a destroyer for public welfare. We admire you from the great hymns. (14)
गोषा इन्दो नृषा अस्यश्वसा वाजसा उत । आत्मा यज्ञस्य पूर्व्यः ॥ (१५)

हे सोम! आप यज्ञ के मुख्याधार व यज्ञ की आत्मा हैं. आप गोधन, अश्वधन और संतानधन के दाता हैं. (१५)

O Mon! You are the main base of yajna and the soul of yajna. You are the giver of Godhan, Ashwadhan and Santandhandhan. (15)
अस्मभ्यमिन्दविन्द्रियं मधोः पवस्व धारया । पर्जन्यो वृष्टिमाँ इव ॥ (१६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! बादलों से होने वाली बरसात के समान आप अपनी पवित्र मधुर धाराओं से हमारे लिए अमृत बरसाने की कृपा कीजिए. (१६)

O Mon! Like the rain from the clouds, please shower nectar for us with your holy sweet streams. (16)
