अभि त्वा पूर्वपीतय इन्द्र स्तोमेभिरायवः । समीचीनास ऋभवः समस्वरन्रुद्रा गृणन्त पूर्व्यम् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! यजमान चाहते हैं कि आप सब से पहले सोमरस पीजिए. यजमान वैदिक मंत्रों से आप की स्तुति कर रहे हैं. आप उचित दृष्टि वाले हैं. रुद्र और ऋभुगण आप की गणना सर्वप्रथम करते हैं. वे भी आप ही की स्तुति करते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
O Indra! The host wants you to drink somers first. The host is praising you with Vedic mantras. You are with proper vision. Rudra and Ribhugan calculate you first. They also praise you. (1)
अस्येदिन्द्रो वावृधे वृष्ण्यँ शवो मदे सुतस्य विष्णवि । अद्या तमस्य महिमानमायवोऽनु ष्टुवन्ति पूर्वथा ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप सोमरस पी कर प्रसन्न होते हैं. आप यजमान का वीर्य और शक्ति दोनों बढ़ाते हैं. आप महिमावान हैं. यजमान आप की उसी महिमा का बखान करते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are happy to drink somerasa. You increase both the semen and power of the host. You are glorious. The hosts extol the same glory of you. (2)
प्र वामर्चन्त्युक्थिनो नीथाविदो जरितारः । इन्द्राग्नी इष आ वृणे ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! हे अग्नि! यजमान आप की अर्चना करते हैं. सामगायक आप के गुण गा रहे हैं. अन्न धन हेतु हम भी आप को आमंत्रित करते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
O Indra! O agni! The host worships you. The sings of your songs are the same. We also invite you for food money. (3)
इन्द्राग्नी नवतिं पुरो दासपत्नीरधूनुतम् । साकमेकेन कर्मणा ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! हे अग्नि! आप ने एक ही बार एक साथ नब्बे नगरों को कंपकंपा दिया. (४)
EN English Translation
O Indra! O agni! You shivered ninety cities at once. (4)
इन्द्राग्नी अपसस्पर्युप प्र यन्ति धीतयः । ऋतस्य पथ्याऽऽ३ अनु ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! हे अग्नि! यज्ञ के होता आदि पुरोहित सत्य के मार्ग से हमारे यज्ञ के पास उपस्थित होते हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
O Indra! O agni! The priests present near our yajna through the path of truth. (5)
इन्द्राग्नी तविषाणी वाँ सधस्थानि प्रयाँसि च । युवोरप्तूर्यँ हितम् ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! हे अग्नि! आप हित साधने वाले हैं. आप के प्रयास सदैव शुभ कार्यो की ओर लगे रहते हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
O Indra! O agni! You are an interest seeker. Your efforts are always engaged towards auspicious works. (6)
शग्ध्यू३ षु शचीपत इन्द्र विश्वाभिरूतिभिः । भगं न हि त्वा यशसं वसुविदमनु शूर चरामसि ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप शचीपति, शक्तिमान, धनवान, सौभाग्यवान और यशस्वी हैं. हम आप का अनुगमन करते हैं. (७)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are a saturn, powerful, rich, fortunate and successful. We follow you. (7)
पौरो अश्वस्य पुरुकृद्गवामस्युत्सो देव हिरण्ययः । न किर्हि दानं परि मर्धिषत्वे यद्यद्यामि तदा भर ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप अश्व, गौ आदि पशुओं का पालन करते हैं. स्वर्णमयी मुद्रा से जैसे प्रसन्नता होती है, वैसे ही आप को देख कर प्रसन्नता होती है. कोई भी आप के दान को भूल नहीं सकता. आप हमें भरपूर धन दीजिए. (८)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You rear animals like horses, cows etc. Just as it is happy to see you with the golden posture, it is happy to see you. No one can forget your donation. You give us plenty of money. (8)
त्वँ ह्येहि चेरवे विदा भगं वसुत्तये । उद्वावृषस्व मधवन्गविष्टय उदिन्द्राश्वमिष्टये ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप हमें धन देने के लिए पधारिए. आप सन्मार्ग पर चलने वाले को सौभाग्यवान बनाइए. आप हमारी गौ संबंधी इच्छाओं को पूरा कीजिए. (९)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You come to give us money. Make those who walk on the path of peace fortunate. You fulfill our cow-related wishes. (9)
त्वं पुरू सहस्राणि शतानि च यूथा दानाय मँहसे । आ पुरन्दरं चकृम विप्रवचस इन्द्रं गायन्तोऽवसे ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप सैकड़ोंहजारों गायों के झुंड देने व शत्रु नगरियों को नष्ट करने की सामर्थ्य रखते हैं. यजमान अपनी रक्षा के लिए साम मंत्र गा रहे हैं. इंद्र ब्राह्मणों के वचनों से युक्त हैं. हम उन को आमंत्रित करते हैं. (१०)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You have the ability to give herds of hundreds of thousands of cows and destroy enemy cities. The host is singing saam mantra to protect themselves. Indra is endowed with the words of Brahmins. We invite them. (10)
यो विश्वा दयते वसु होता मन्द्रो जनानाम् । मधोर्न पात्रा प्रथमान्यस्मै प्र स्तोमा यन्त्वग्नये ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप धनदाता, होता व आनंददाता हैं. सोमरस से भरे पात्र आप तक पहुंचें सर्वप्रथम हम आप की स्तुति करते हैं. वे स्तुतियां भी आप तक पहुंचें. (११)
EN English Translation
O agni! You are a wealth giver, a hota and a joy giver. Let the characters full of somers reach you First of all we praise you. Those praises also reach you. (11)
अश्व न गीर्भी रथ्यँ सुदानवो मर्मृज्यन्ते देवयवः । उभे तोके तनये दस्म विस्पते पर्षि राधो मघोनाम् ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! सारथी जैसे रथ में जोते गए घोड़ों को जोश दिलाने के लिए बोलता रहता है, वैसे ही यजमान आप के लिए स्तुतियां बोलते हैं. आप राक्षसों से धन छीन कर अपने उपासकों को देने की कृपा कीजिए. आप उत्तम कोटि के दानदाता हैं. (१२)
EN English Translation
O agni! Just as the charioteer keeps speaking to energize the horses ploughed in the chariot, the host speaks praises for you. Please take away the money from the demons and give it to your worshippers. You are a donor of the best quality. (12)
