गोवित्पवस्व वसुविद्धिरण्यविद्रेतोधा इन्दो भुवनेष्वर्पितः । त्वँ सुवीरो असि सोम विश्ववित्तं त्वा नर उप गिरेम आसते ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप गौ दूध मिश्रित, पवित्र, सर्वज्ञाता, श्रेष्ठ पथ पर जाने वाले व सभी लोकों में व्याप्त हैं. सभी उपासक आप की उपासना करते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are mixed with cow milk, pure, omniscient, going on the best path and pervading all the worlds. All worshipers worship you. (1)
त्वं नृचक्षा असि सोम विश्वतः पवमान वृषभ ता वि धावसि । स नः पवस्व वसुमद्धिरण्यवद्वयँ स्याम भुवनेषु जीवसे ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप पवित्र, स्फूर्तिदायी, सर्वव्यापक व सर्वज्ञाता हैं. आप दोड़ते हुए हमारे पास पधारिए. आप हमें धनवान बनाइए. आप की कृपा से हम सभी लोकों में श्रेष्ठ जीवन जीएं. (२)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are pure, energetic, omnipresent and omniscient. You come to us running. You make us rich. By your grace, let us live a superior life in all the worlds. (2)
ईशान इमा भुवनानि ईयसे युजान इन्दो हरितः सुपर्ण्यः । तास्ते क्षरन्तु मधुमद्घृतं पयस्तव व्रते सोम तिष्ठन्तु कृष्टयः ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप सभी लोकों के ईश्वर, हरे, सर्वत्र व्याप्त एवं मधुरता युक्त हैं. आप के रस की धार निरंतर झरे. आप की कृपा से यजमान अपने व्रत (संकल्पो) को पूरा करने में लगे रहें. (३)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are the God of all the worlds, green, everywhere and sweet. The edge of your juice is constantly jarred. By your grace, the host should be engaged in fulfilling his fast (resolutions). (3)
पवमानस्य विश्ववित्प्र ते सर्गा असृक्षत । सूर्यस्येव न रश्मयः ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप पवित्र व सर्वज्ञाता हैं. सूर्य की तरह आप की किरणें (रशिभियां) स्वर्ग से फैल रही हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are holy and omniscient. Like the sun, your rays are spreading from heaven. (4)
केतुं कृण्वं दिवस्परि विश्वा रूपाभ्यर्षसि । समुद्रः सोम पिन्वसे ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप सर्वव्यापक और स्वर्गलोक के ऊपर किरणों के रूप में व्याप्त हैं. आप बरसात के रूप में पानी बरसा कर हमें संपन्नता देते हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are omnipresent and pervaded as rays over paradise. You give us prosperity by showering water in the form of rain. (5)
जज्ञानो वाचमिष्यसि पवमान विधर्मणि । क्रन्दं देवो न सूर्यः ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप सूर्य जैसे दीप्तिमान हैं. आप वाणी से पवित्रता को प्राप्त होते हैं. आप आवाज करते हुए द्रोणकलश में जाते हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are as bright as the sun. You attain purity through speech. You go to Dronakalsh while making a sound. (6)
प्र सोमासो अधन्विषुः पवमानास इन्दवः । श्रीणाना अप्सु वृञ्जते ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप पवित्र व शीतल हैं. आप जल के साथ द्रोणकलश में परस्पर मिश्रित हो रहे हैं. (७)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are pure and cool. You are getting mixed with water in Dronakalsh. (7)
अभि गावो अधन्विषुरापो न प्रवता यतीः । पुनाना इन्द्रमाशत ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप के भक्षण (पीने) के लिए सोमरस नीचे बरतन में शुद्ध हो कर पहुंच रहा है. (८)

O Indra! You have to eat (drink) somerus is reaching down to be pure in the vessel. (8)
प्र पवमान धन्वसि सोमेन्द्राय मादनः । नृभिर्यतो वि नीयसे ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप पवित्र व इंद्र के लिए आनंददायी हैं. यजमान द्वारा आप निर्धारित स्थान तक ले जाए जा रहे हैं. (९)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are holy and blissful to Indra. You are being taken to the designated location by the host. (9)
इन्दो यदद्रिभिः सुतः पवित्रं परिदीयसे । अरमिन्द्रस्य धाम्ने ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! सोमरस आप के पीने योग्य हो गया है. इसे पत्थरों से कूट कर निचोड़ा गया एवं छलनी (भेड़ों के बालों से बनी) से छाना गया है. (१०)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Somerus has become drinkable of you. It has been crushed with stones and squeezed and filtered with sieves (made of sheep's hair). (10)
त्वँ सोम नृमादनः पवस्व चर्षणीधृतिः । सस्निर्यो अनुमाद्यः ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप पवित्र व मनुष्यों के लिए मददायी हैं. आप परिष्कृति (शुद्धता) के बाद यजमान द्वारा (देवों को चढ़ाने के लिए) धारण किए जाते हैं. (११)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are holy and beneficial to human beings. You are worn by the host (to offer to the devas) after the finish (purity). (11)
पवस्व वृत्रहन्तम उक्थेभिरनुमाद्यः । शुचिः पावको अद्भुतः ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप पवित्र व विलक्षण हैं. आप वूत्रहंता के लिए स्तुतियों से शुद्धता और पवित्रता को प्राप्त होते हैं. (१२)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are holy and unique. You attain purity and purity from praises for the woman. (12)
शुचिः पावक उच्यते सोमः सुतः स मधुमान् । देवावीरघशँसहा ॥ (१३)

हे सोम! आप पवित्र, शुद्ध व मधुरता से युक्त हैं. आप देवों को आनंदित करने वाले हैं. आप को देवों का पुत्र कहा गया है. (१३)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are pure, pure and sweet. You are going to make the gods happy. You have been called the son of gods. (13)
