प्र त आश्विनीः पवमान धेनवो दिव्या असृग्रन्पयसा धरीमणि । प्रान्तरिक्षात्स्थाविरीस्ते असृक्षत ये त्वा मृजन्त्यृषिषाण वेधसः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप पवित्र हैं और आप की दुधारू गाएं दिव्य हैं. उन के दूध की धाराएं वेगपूर्वक द्रोणकलश में पहुंचती हैं. ऋषि शुद्ध सोमरस का सेवन करते हैं. अंतरिक्ष से उस की धाराओं को बरतन में पहुंचाते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are holy and your milch songs are divine. The streams of their milk reach the dronalash rapidly. Sages consume pure somersa. Deliver its streams from space to the kitchenware. (1)
उभयतः पवमानस्य रश्मयो ध्रुवस्य सतः परि यन्ति केतवः । यदी पवित्रे अधि मृज्यते हरिः सत्ता नि योनौ कलशेषु सीदति ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! स्थिर स्वभाव वाले आप को जब छाना जाता है तो आप की किरणें चारों ओर फैलती हैं. हरा सोमरस छलनी में छाना जाता है तो वह द्रोणकलश में रहता है. सोम स्थिर रहने के इच्छुक हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
O Mon! When you are filtered with a stable nature, your rays spread all around. If the green somrus is filtered in the sieve, then it lives in Dronalash. Som is keen to remain stable. (2)
विश्वा धामानि विश्वचक्ष ऋभ्वसः प्रभोष्टे सतः परि यन्ति केतवः । व्यानशी पवसे सोम धर्मणा पतिर्विश्वस्य भुवनस्य राजसि ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप सर्वद्रष्टा व शक्तिशाली हैं. आप की बड़ीबड़ी किरणें सब ओर व्यापने वाली व प्रकाश फैलाने वाली हैं. आप पवित्र व विश्वपति हैं. आप भुवन में सुशोभित होते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are omnipresent and powerful. Your big rays are widespread and spreading light all over. You are pure and faithful. You are adorned in bhuvan. (3)
पवमानो अजीजनद्दिवश्चित्रं न तन्यतुम् । ज्योतिर्वैश्वानरं बृहत् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप पवित्र हैं. सोम स्वर्गलोक में बिजली जैसा विशाल वैश्वानर नामक तेज उपजाते हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are holy. Som grows a huge electricity-like fast called Vaishwanar in Swarglok. (4)
पवमान रसस्तव मदो राजन्नदुच्छुनः । वि वारमव्यमर्षति ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप पवित्र व मदकारी हैं. आप का रस राक्षसों के लिए वर्जित है. आप का रस भेड़ के बालों से बनी छलनी में छन कर द्रोणकलश तक पहुंचता है. (५)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are holy and drunkard. Your juice is forbidden to monsters. Your juice reaches dronalash by filtering it in a sieve made of sheep's hair. (5)
पवमानस्य ते रसो दक्षो वि राजति द्युमान् । ज्योतिर्विश्वँ स्वर्दृशे ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप पवित्र हैं. आप का रस बलवान व चमकीला है. आप सर्वत्र व्याप्त एवं आप का प्रकाश (ज्योति) सर्वत्र दिखाई देता है. (६)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are holy. Your juice is strong and bright. You are everywhere and your light (light) is visible everywhere. (6)
प्र यद्गावो न भूर्णयस्त्वेषा अयासो अक्रमुः । घ्नन्तः कृष्णामप त्वचम् ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप गायों के समान गतिशील, प्रकाशमान व काली चमड़ी को हटा कर द्रोणकलश में प्रवेश करते हैं. आप की स्तुति की जाती है. (७)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You enter the dronakshalash by removing the moving, bright and black skin like cows. You are praised. (7)
सुवितस्य मनामहेऽति सेतुं दुराय्यम् । साह्याम दस्युमव्रतम् ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप सुखद हैं. हम कठिनाई से बंधक बनने वाले राक्षसों के बंधन की प्रार्थना करते हैं. अव्रती (अच्छे काम न करने वाले) के नाश की कामना करते हैं. (८)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are pleasant. We pray for the bondage of demons who have become hostages with difficulty. Wish for the destruction of avratis (those who do not do good work). (8)
शृण्वे वृष्टेरिव स्वनः पवमानस्य शुष्मिणः । चरन्ति विद्युतो दिवि ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! वर्षा की आवाज के समान शुद्ध किए जाते समय बरतन में गिरती हुई धार से उत्पन्न आप की आवाज सुनाई देती है. आप की शक्तिमान किरणें आकाश में भ्रमण करती हैं. (९)
EN English Translation
O Mon! While being purified like the sound of rain, the sound of you generated by the falling edge in the vessel is heard. Your powerful rays travel in the sky. (9)
आ पवस्व महीमिषं गोमदिन्दो हिरण्यवत् । अश्ववत्सोम वीरवत् ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप पवित्र व रसीले हैं. आप हमें गोवान, स्वर्णवान, अश्ववान एवं पुत्रवान बनाइए. आप हमें पौत्रवान बनाइए. (१०)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are pure and succulent. You make us Goans, Goldens, Horses and Sons. You make us grandchildren. (10)
पवस्व विश्वचर्षण आ मही रोदसी पृण । उषाः सूर्यो न रश्मिभिः ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप विश्वद्रष्टा व रसीले हैं. अपने रस से स्वर्गलोक और पृथ्वीलोक को वैसे ही भर दीजिए, जैसे सूर्य अपनी किरणों से सारे संसार को भर देते हैं. (११)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are a world-class and a succulent. Fill heaven and earth with your juice just as the sun fills the whole world with its rays. (11)
परि नः शर्मयन्त्या धारया सोम विश्वतः । सरा रसेव विष्टपम् ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप उसी तरह अपनी धाराएं हमारे चारों ओर फैला दीजिए, जिस तरह भूलोक के चारों ओर सुखद जल की धाराएं फैली हुई हैं. (१२)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You spread your streams around us in the same way as streams of pleasant water are spread around the earth. (12)
