द॒दिर्हि मह्यं॒ वरु॑णो दि॒वः क॒विर्वचो॑भिरु॒ग्रैर्नि रि॑णामि ते वि॒षम् । खा॒तमखा॑तमु॒त स॒क्तम॑ग्रभ॒मिरे॑व॒ धन्व॒न्नि ज॑जास ते वि॒षम् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
स्वर्ग के देवता वरुण ने मुझे उपदेश दिया है. उन के वचनो के द्वारा मैं तेरे विष को दूर करता हूं. जो विष मांस के ऊपर अथवा मांस के भीतर है, उसे मैं ग्रहण करता हूं. जिस प्रकार जल रेत में गिरने पर नष्ट हो जाता है, उसी प्रकार तेरा विष नष्ट हो जाए. (१)
EN English Translation
Varuna, the god of heaven, has preached to me. Through their words I remove your poison. I take the poison that is above the flesh or inside the flesh. Just as water is destroyed when it falls into the sand, so your poison is destroyed. (1)
सु॑प॒र्णस्त्वान्व॑विन्दत्सूक॒रस्त्वा॑खनन्न॒सा । दिप्सौ॑षधे॒ त्वं दिप्स॑न्त॒मव॑ कृत्या॒कृतं॑ जहि ॥ (१)

हे ओषधि! सुपर्ण अर्थात् गरुड़ या सूर्य ने तुम्हें प्राप्त किया था. सुअर ने अपनी नाक से तुम्हें खोदा था. हे कृत्या से संबंधित ओषधि! तुम कृत्या का प्रयोग करने वाले और हमें मारने का प्रयत्न करने वाले का नाश करो. (१)

O medicine! Suparna i.e. Garuda or Sun received you. The pig dug you with its nose. O medicine related to the act! Destroy the one who uses the act and tries to kill us. (1)
एका॑ च मे॒ दश॑ च मेऽपव॒क्तार॑ ओषधे । ऋत॑जात॒ ऋता॑वरि॒ मधु॑ मे मधु॒ला क॑रः ॥ (१)

हे यज्ञ के निमित्त उत्पन्न ओषधि! मेरी निंदा करने वाले चाहे एक और दस अर्थात् ग्यारह हों, पर तू मेरी वाणी को मधुर बना. क्योंकि तू मधुर है. (१)
EN English Translation
O medicine produced for the sake of yajna! Those who condemn Me may be one and ten, that is, eleven, but you make My voice sweet. Because you are sweet. (1)

हे लवण! यदि तू एक वृषभ अर्थात् बैल के समान शक्ति वाला है तो इस गाय से संतान उत्पन्न कर, अन्यथा तू प्रभावहीन समझा जाएगा. (१)
EN English Translation
O salt! If you are a Taurus, that is, with the power of a bull, then produce children from this cow, otherwise you will be considered ineffective. (1)
तेऽव॒दन्प्र॑थ॒मा ब्र॑ह्मकिल्बि॒षेऽकू॑पारः सलि॒लो मा॑तरिश्वा । वी॒डुह॑रा॒स्तप॑ उ॒ग्रं म॑यो॒भूरापो॑ दे॒वीः प्र॑थम॒जा ऋ॒तस्य॑ ॥ (१)

सूर्य, वरुण, वायु, चंद्र तथा आप अर्थात् जलदेवी-ये देवता ब्रह्म से उत्पन्न हुए हैं. इन्होंने ब्राह्मण द्वारा अपराध करने के विषय में कहा है. (१)

Sun, Varuna, Vayu, Chandra and you i.e. Jaldevi - these gods are born from Brahma. He has said about the crime committed by brahmins. (1)
नैतां ते॑ दे॒वा अ॑ददु॒स्तुभ्यं॑ नृपते॒ अत्त॑वे । मा ब्रा॑ह्म॒णस्य॑ राजन्य॒ गां जि॑घत्सो अना॒द्याम् ॥ (१)

हे राजन्! देवों ने यह गाय तुम को भक्षण करने के लिए नहीं दी है. ब्राह्मण की गाय अखाद्य है. इसे खाने की इच्छा मत कर. (१)

O king! The gods have not given this cow to you to eat. A Brahmin cow is inedible. Don't want to eat it. (1)
अ॑तिमा॒त्रम॑वर्धन्त॒ नोदि॑व॒ दिव॑मस्पृशन् । भृगुं॑ हिंसि॒त्वा सृञ्ज॑या वैतह॒व्याः परा॑भवन् ॥ (१)

सृंजय के पुत्र एवं वीतहव्य के वंशजों की बहुत वृद्धि हुई. उन्होंने भृगुवंशी ब्राह्मणों की हत्या कर दी, इसलिए उन की पराजय हुई तथा वे स्वर्ग को नहीं पा सके. (१)
EN English Translation
The sons of Srinjaya and the descendants of Veethavya grew greatly. They killed the Bhriguvanshi Brahmins, so they were defeated and could not find heaven. (1)
उ॒च्चैर्घो॑षो दुन्दु॒भिः स॑त्वना॒यन्वा॑नस्प॒त्यः संभृ॑त उ॒स्रिया॑भिः । वाचं॑ क्षुणुवा॒नो द॒मय॑न्त्स॒पत्ना॑न्त्सिं॒ह इ॑व जे॒ष्यन्न॒भि तं॑स्तनीहि ॥ (१)

हे दुंदुभि! तू वनस्पतियों से बनाई गई है तथा उच्च स्वर करती है. तू शक्तिशाली जनों के समान आचरण कर तथा उच्च घोष से शत्रुओं का मान मर्दन कर. (१)

O dundubi! You are made from vegetation and tone high. You behave like powerful people and honor the enemies with a loud voice. (1)
विहृ॑दयं वैमन॒स्यं वदा॒मित्रे॑षु दुन्दुभे । वि॑द्वे॒षं कश्म॑शं भ॒यम॒मित्रे॑षु॒ नि द॑ध्म॒स्यव॑ एनान्दुन्दुभे जहि ॥ (१)

हे दुदुंभि! तू शत्रुओं में वैमनस्य फैला एवं उन के हृदयों में एकदूसरे के प्रति द्वेष भर दे हम अपने शत्रुओं में द्वेष की भावना फैलाना चाहते हैं. तू उन का तिरस्कार करती हुई उन्हें समाप्त कर दे. (१)
EN English Translation
O milk! You spread disharmony among the enemies and fill their hearts with hatred towards each other, we want to spread a sense of malice among our enemies. You despise them and finish them. (1)
अ॒ग्निस्त॒क्मान॒मप॑ बाधतामि॒तः सोमो॒ ग्रावा॒ वरु॑णः पू॒तद॑क्षाः । वेदि॑र्ब॒र्हिः स॒मिधः॒ शोशु॑चाना॒ अप॒ द्वेषां॑स्यमु॒या भ॑वन्तु ॥ (१)

अग्नि देव ज्वर को बाधा पहुचाएं. पत्थर के समान दृढ़ सौम्य, पवित्र और दक्ष वरण, वेल्वी, कुश तथा प्रज्वलित समिधाएं ज्वर से द्वेष करने वाली हों. (१)
EN English Translation
Obstruct the agni god fever. Strong, gentle, holy and efficient varan, velvy, kush and ignited samidhas like stone should be febrile-mongering. (1)
ओते॑ मे॒ द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी ओता॑ दे॒वी सर॑स्वती । ओतौ॑ म॒ इन्द्र॑श्चा॒ग्निश्च॒ क्रिमिं॑ जम्भयता॒मिति॑ ॥ (१)

द्यावा पृथ्वी, सरस्वती देवी, इंद्र और अग्नि मुझ में ओतप्रोत हैं. वे कृमियों का विनाश करें. (१)

Dyava Prithvi, Saraswati Devi, Indra and Agni are imbued in me. Let them destroy the worms. (1)
ऋध॑ङ्मन्त्रो॒ योनिं॒ य आ॑ब॒भूव॒मृता॑सु॒र्वर्ध॑मानः सु॒जन्मा॑ । अद॑ब्धासु॒र्भ्राज॑मा॒नोऽहे॑व त्रि॒तो ध॒र्ता दा॑धार॒ त्रीणि॑ ॥ (१)

जिस के प्राण मरण रहित हैं, जो जन्म ले कर बढ़ता है, कोई भी जिस की हिंसा नहीं कर सकता, जो दिन के समान प्रकाश वाला है, जो तीनों लोकों का धारणकर्ता और पालक है, वह योनि से उत्पन्न हुआ है. (१)

Whose life is without death, who grows after birth, no one who can do violence, who is with light like day, who is the possessor and guardian of the three worlds, has been born from the vagina. (1)
स॑वि॒ता प्र॑स॒वाना॒मधि॑पतिः॒ स मा॑वतु । अ॒स्मिन्ब्रह्म॑ण्य॒स्मिन्कर्म॑ण्य॒स्यां पु॑रो॒धाया॑म॒स्यां प्र॑ति॒ष्ठाया॑म॒स्यां । चित्त्या॑म॒स्यामाकू॑त्याम॒स्यामा॒शिष्य॒स्यां दे॒वहू॑त्यां॒ स्वाहा॑ ॥ (१)

सविता सभी उत्पन्न पदार्थो के अधिपति हैं. वे इस ब्रह्म कर्म में, इस पुरोधा में, इस संकल्प में, इस देवाहूवान कर्म में तथा आशीर्वाद रूप कर्म में मेरी रक्षा करें. (१)
EN English Translation
Savita is the ruler of all the products. May they protect me in this Brahma Karma, in this forefather, in this resolution, in this divine deed and in the form of blessings. (1)
तदिदा॑स॒ भुव॑नेषु॒ ज्येष्ठं॒ यतो॑ य॒ज्ञ उ॒ग्रस्त्वे॒षनृ॑म्णः । स॒द्यो ज॑ज्ञा॒नो नि रि॑णाति॒ शत्रू॒ननु॒ यदे॑नं॒ मद॑न्ति॒ विश्व॒ ऊमाः॑ ॥ (१)

इंद्र संसार में धनवान एवं बली होने के कारण श्रेष्ठ माने जाते हैं. इंद्र ने जन्म लेते ही शत्रु का संहार करना आरंभ कर दिया था, इसीलिए इन के सैनिक इन की रक्षा करते हैं एवं प्रसन्न रहते हैं. (१)

Indra is considered to be the best in the world due to being rich and strong. Indra started killing Shru as soon as he was born, that is why his soldiers protect him and are happy. (1)
ममा॑ग्ने॒ वर्चो॑ विह॒वेष्व॑स्तु व॒यं त्वेन्धा॑नास्त॒न्वं॑ पुषेम । मह्यं॑ नमन्तां प्र॒दिश॒श्चत॑स्र॒स्त्वयाध्य॑क्षेण॒ पृत॑ना जयेम ॥ (१)

हे अग्नि देव! युद्धों में हम वर्चस्वी बनें. हम तुम्हें प्रकट करते हुए अपने शरीर को शक्तिशाली बनाएं. चारों दिशाएं और प्रदिशाएं हमारे सामने तथा आप के संरक्षण में शत्रुओं की इस सेना पर विजय प्राप्त करें. (१)

O God of Agni! Let us dominate wars. Let us make our body powerful by revealing you. May the four directions and directions prevail in front of us and this army of enemies under your protection. (1)
पर्व॑ताद्दि॒वो योने॒रङ्गा॑दङ्गात्स॒माभृ॑तम् । शेपो॒ गर्भ॑स्य रेतो॒धाः सरौ॑ प॒र्णमि॒वा द॑धत् ॥ (१)

पर्वत की ओषधि, स्वर्ग के पुण्य और अंगों की शक्ति से पुष्ट वीर्य धारण करने वाला पुरुष जल में पत्ते के समान गर्भाधान करता है. (१)

A man who holds semen strengthened by the medicinal of the mountain, the virtue of heaven and the power of the organs insemination like a leaf in water. (1)
यो गि॒रिष्वजा॑यथा वी॒रुधां॒ बल॑वत्तमः । कुष्ठेहि॑ तक्मनाशन त॒क्मानं॑ ना॒शय॑न्नि॒तः ॥ (१)

हे पर्वतों में उत्पन्न होने वाली तथा शक्तिशाली ओषधि कुष्ठ! तू कोढ़ नामक कठिन रोग का नाश करने वाली है. तू हमें कष्ट देने वाले रोग को नष्ट करती हुई यहां आ. (१)

O leprosy born in the mountains and powerful! You are going to destroy a difficult disease called leprosy. Come here, destroying the disease that plagues us.
यजूं॑षि य॒ज्ञे स॒मिधः॒ स्वाहा॒ग्निः प्र॑वि॒द्वानि॒ह वो॑ युनक्तु ॥ (१)

यजुर्वेद के मंत्रो और समिधाओ! सब कुछ जानने वाले अग्नि देव इस यज्ञ में तुम से मिलें. (१)

रात्री॑ मा॒ता नभः॑ पि॒तार्य॒मा ते॑ पिताम॒हः । सि॑ला॒ची नाम॒ वा अ॑सि॒ सा दे॒वाना॑मसि॒ स्वसा॑ ॥ (१)

हे लाख नामक ओषधि! तू चंद्रमा की किरणों से पुष्ट होती है. इसलिए रात्रि तेरी माता है. तू वर्षा काल में उत्पन्न होती है, इसलिए आकाश तेरा पिता है. आकाश में मेघों को उत्पन्न करने के कारण सूर्य तेरा पितामह है. तेरा नाम सिलाची है और तू देवों की बहन है. (१)

O medicine called lac! You are strengthened by the rays of the moon. So night is your mother. You are born in the rainy season, so the heavens are your father. The sun is your grandfather because of the creation of clouds in the sky. Your name is Silachi and you are the sister of gods. (1)
ब्रह्म॑ जज्ञा॒नं प्र॑थ॒मं पु॒रस्ता॒द्वि सी॑म॒तः सु॒रुचो॑ वे॒न आ॑वः । स बु॒ध्न्या॑ उप॒मा अ॑स्य वि॒ष्ठाः स॒तश्च॒ योनि॒मस॑तश्च॒ वि वः॑ ॥ (१)

संपूर्ण सृष्टि का कारण ब्रह्म सृष्टि के आरंभ में सूर्य के रूप में प्रकट हुआ. उस का तेज सीमा रहित है, जो सभी दिशाओं और लोकों में व्याप्त होता है. वह अनुपम है. सत् इसी से उत्पन्न हुआ है और असत् इसी में समा जाता है. (१)
EN English Translation
The cause of the whole creation appeared in the form of the sun at the beginning of Brahman creation. Its sharpness is without limitation, which pervades all directions and worlds. He is unique. Truth is born out of this and asat is absorbed in it. (1)
ऊ॒र्ध्वा अ॑स्य स॒मिधो॑ भवन्त्यू॒र्ध्वा शु॒क्रा शो॒चींष्य॒ग्नेः । द्यु॒मत्त॑मा सु॒प्रती॑कः॒ ससू॑नु॒स्तनू॒नपा॒दसु॑रो॒ भूरि॑पाणिः ॥ (१)

अग्नि की समिधाएं ऊंची और वीर्य तेजयुक्त होते हैं. यह अत्यंत प्रदीप्त, सुंदर एवं सूर्य के समान है. प्राणदाता अग्नि का यज्ञों में बहुत सहयोग रहता है. (१)

The summings of agni are high and semen are sharp. It is very bright, beautiful and like the sun. The provider agni has a lot of support in yagyas. (1)
नव॑ प्रा॒णान्न॒वभिः॒ सं मि॑मीते दीर्घायु॒त्वाय॑ श॒तशा॑रदाय । हरि॑ते॒ त्रीणि॑ रज॒ते त्रीण्यय॑सि॒ त्रीणि॒ तप॒सावि॑ष्ठितानि ॥ (१)

हम सौ वर्ष की आयु पाने के लिए नव प्राणों को इन तीन से संयुक्त करते हैं. इन नौ में सोने, चांदी और लोहे के तीनतीन धागे अर्थात् तार हैं जो उष्णता लिए हुए हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
We combine the new souls with these three to attain the age of a hundred years. These nine have three threads of gold, silver and iron i.e. wires which are carrying heat. (1)
आ नो॑ भर॒ मा परि॑ ष्ठा अराते॒ मा नो॑ रक्षी॒र्दक्षि॑णां नी॒यमा॑नाम् । नमो॑ वी॒र्त्साया॒ अस॑मृद्धये॒ नमो॑ अ॒स्त्वरा॑तये ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अराति! हम को धन संपन्न बना. तू हमारे चारों ओर स्थित मत हो और हमारे द्वारा लाई गई दक्षिणा को प्रभावित मत कर. यह हवि हम दान हीनता की अधिष्ठात्री देवी को वृद्धि न होने की इच्छा से दे रहे हैं. यह तुझे प्राप्त हो. (१)
EN English Translation
O Arati! We make rich. Don't be around us and don't influence the dakshina we bring. We are giving this havi to the goddess, the presiding deity of charity, with the desire not to grow. You get it. (1)
वै॑कङ्क॒तेने॒ध्मेन॑ दे॒वेभ्य॒ आज्यं॑ वह । अग्ने॒ ताँ इ॒ह मा॑दय॒ सर्व॒ आ य॑न्तु मे॒ हव॑म् ॥ (१)

हे अग्नि! तुम शक्तिशाली ओषधि के ईधन से देवों के हेतु घृत का वहन करो. इस कर्म से तुम देवों को प्रसन्न करो. मेरे यह में सभी देव आएं. (१)

O agni! You bear the ghee for the gods with the fuel of a powerful medicine. Please the gods with this deed. All the gods come in my it. (1)
पु॒रस्ता॑द्यु॒क्तो व॑ह जातवे॒दोऽग्ने॑ वि॒द्धि क्रि॒यमा॑णं॒ यथे॒दम् । त्वं भि॒षग्भे॑ष॒जस्या॑सि क॒र्ता त्वया॒ गामश्वं॒ पुरु॑षं सनेम ॥ (१)

हे सभी कमों में प्रथम नियुक्त होने वाले अग्नि देव! मेरे द्वारा किए गए इस कार्य का भार वहन करो. तुम ओषधि प्रदान करने वाले वैद्य हो. हम तुम्हारे द्वारा गाय, अश्व एवं मनुष्यों को रोग रहित दशा में प्राप्त करें. (१)

O Agni God who is appointed first among all things! Bear the burden of this work I have done. You are a physician who provides medicines. May we get cows, horses and humans in a disease-free state through you. (1)

हे पत्थर के बने घर! तू मेरा है. जो पापी हत्यारा मुझे पूर्व दिशा की ओर से नष्ट करना चाहता है, वह नाश को प्राप्त हो. (१)

O house of stone! You are mine. The sinful murderer who wants to destroy me from the east direction, he attains destruction. (1)
आ॒वत॑स्त आ॒वतः॑ परा॒वत॑स्त आ॒वतः॑ । इ॒हैव भ॑व॒ मा नु गा॒ मा पूर्वा॒ननु॑ गाः पि॒तॄनसुं॑ बध्नामि ते दृ॒ढम् ॥ (१)

मैं समीप के देश से और दूर के देश से तेरे प्राणों को दृढ़ता से बांधता हूं. तू यहीं रह और अपने पूर्ववर्ती पितरों का अनुकरण मत कर. (१)

I bind your life firmly from the nearest country and from the distant country. You stay here and don't follow your previous ancestors. (1)
क॒थं म॒हे असु॑रायाब्रवीरि॒ह क॒थं पि॒त्रे हर॑ये त्वे॒षनृ॑म्णः । पृश्निं॑ वरुण॒ दक्षि॑णां ददा॒वान्पुन॑र्मघ॒ त्वं मन॑साचिकित्सीः ॥ (१)

हे शक्तिशाली वरुण! तुम ने जगत् के पालन करने वाले सूर्य से क्या कहा था? तुम सूर्य को दक्षिणा देते हो एवं मन से चिकित्सा करते हो. (१)

O mighty Varuna! What did you say to the sun that follows the world? You give dakshina to the sun and heal with your mind. (1)
यां ते॑ च॒क्रुरा॒मे पात्रे॒ यां च॒क्रुर्मि॒श्रधा॑न्ये । आ॒मे मां॒से कृ॒त्यां यां च॒क्रुः पुनः॒ प्रति॑ हरामि॒ ताम् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे कृत्या! अभिचार करने वाले ने मिट्टी के कच्चे पात्र में चावल, जौ, गेहूं, उपवाक, तिल एवं कांगनी के मिले हुए अन्नों में अथवा मुरगे आदि के मांसों में तुझे स्थित किया है. मैं तुझे उसी की ओर लौटाता हूं, जिस ने अभिचार कर के तुझे भेजा है. (१)

O act! The person who meditates has placed you in the raw vessel of soil in the grains mixed with rice, barley, wheat, upwak, sesame and kangni or in the meat of murga etc. I return you to him who sent you. (1)
