Description

The Atharvaveda is the fourth Veda, named after the sage Atharvan. Unlike the other three Vedas which focus primarily on cosmic worship and ritual, the Atharvaveda deals with everyday life — healing, protection, prosperity, and the mysteries of existence.

It contains hymns for healing diseases, mantras for protection, philosophical verses about the nature of time and death, and practical knowledge of herbs and medicine. It is sometimes called the "Veda of magical formulas."

This complete edition includes all 20 books (kandas) with Sanskrit text and detailed Hindi commentary.
