Description
Sunderkand is the fifth book (Kanda) of the Ramcharitmanas and is considered the most auspicious section for regular recitation. It narrates the heroic journey of Lord Hanuman to Lanka in search of Mata Sita.
The text describes Hanuman's leap across the ocean, his meeting with Sita in the Ashoka Vatika, the burning of Lanka, and his triumphant return to Lord Rama. It is believed that reading Sunderkand removes obstacles, bestows courage, and brings divine grace.
Countless Hindus recite Sunderkand every Tuesday and Saturday as part of their spiritual practice.
